Fantasy Train New Tazewell, Tennessee
From a southern small town this after school project from 1984 is hard to describe other than there’s nothing else like it.
Teens exploring soul, funk and rock and this album is their interpretation of all three. Catchy tunes, plenty of effects and earnest vocals. Fantasy Train is one of the freshest sounds I’ve heard in many years of digging.

A wonderful compilation of the Blind Owl 🦉 's genius. A more flattering, sensitive album cover could have been featured and there are hundreds to choose from. This often featured photo is one of the worst for obvious reasons. I keep the back cover in view, which shows a good photo of Alan with nicely-done creative artistry.
